How do I Buy the Film Designs 4?

Access to the Film Designs 4 cutting software is offered through a subscription model.

To get started, simply register and activate your account. Account activation details will be provided in an email sent to your inbox after you complete your registration. After account activation you will be able to download the Film Designs 4 in DEMO mode to test with your plotter.

A USB dongle is required to enable full cutting capabilities. The USB dongle will be shipped to you via next-day air delivery once you commit to a subscription.

To have the USB dongle shipped to you, a minimum purchase of one month’s software subscription is required. Once you receive the USB dongle, you can insert it into your Windows-based PC to fully utilize the Film Designs 4 software for cutting and saving patterns.

Can I Start Cutting Immediately After Registration?

A USB dongle is required to unlock full cutting capabilities.

Once you commit to a subscription, the USB dongle will be shipped to you via next-day air delivery. Depending on your location in the US and the day you pay for the subscription, it might take a couple of days for you to receive it. We make every effort to get it to you as quickly as possible.

We add extra days to the initial subscription period to account for the USB dongle's transit time, ensuring you don’t lose any of the days you've paid for.

You will not be able to cut patterns from our database immediately after payment. You must wait until the USB dongle arrives.

Can I Try Film Designs 4 Before I Subscribe?

To get a feel for our software in DEMO mode, simply register and activate your account. Upon registration, you can download a DEMO version of the Film Designs 4 cutting software. The DEMO allows you to cut up to 15 nodes, enabling you to test your plotter and verify its functionality before committing to a subscription. However, full cutting capabilities require a USB dongle, which is provided once you subscribe.

Do You Ship USB Dongles Internationally?

Yes, we do ship USB dongles to most countries. Transit times for international shipping can vary significantly depending on the destination. Some countries have strict regulations regarding cryptographic devices, which could result in delays as customs inspect the USB dongle. You may also be required to pay additional import tax or customs fees.

Can I Keep the USB Dongle if I Decide to Terminate my Subscription?
